Kung Fu Zen Healing offers authentic retreats and healing journeys in Dengfeng, near the historic Shaolin Temple — a place where ancient wisdom (Zen), Kung Fu (Wu), and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) have been cultivated for centuries.

At the heart of our programs are dedicated Kung Fu Masters and highly skilled TCM doctors, experienced in treating a wide range of health conditions — from chronic illnesses and long-standing physical pain to complex health challenges. Whether you are seeking relief, rehabilitation, or holistic wellness, our medical team provides personalized treatments using acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, manual therapy, acupressure, and other traditional modalities.

Alongside professional TCM care, our retreats offer immersive experiences in Kung Fu, Taichi Quan, Qigong, meditation, insight calligraphy, and ancient Chinese philosophy, creating a unique blend of physical, mental, and spiritual renewal. Optional cultural tours allow you to explore iconic sites such as the Terracotta Army, making each journey a complete experience of Chinese culture, healing, and personal transformation.

More Than a Retreat

This journey combines traditional Chinese practices, cultural discovery, and personal development in one immersive experience — offering you the opportunity to experience China not only as a traveler, but through its traditions, philosophy, and living culture.

Holistic Healing

Kung Fu Zen works closely with experienced Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) doctors, offering additional support for health concerns and physical discomfort.

Rooted deeply in Chinese culture, TCM and Kung Fu share a common understanding of balance, energy, and the connection between body and mind. While TCM traditionally focuses on restoring balance and addressing health conditions, Kung Fu practices can support vitality, body awareness, relaxation, and overall well-being.

At the Kung Fu Zen Healing Retreat, traditional Kung Fu healing practices are combined with selected natural TCM therapies. Depending on your individual needs, these practices may focus on supporting the body’s energy flow, promoting relaxation, and restoring a sense of balance between Yin and Yang.

Guided by experienced Kung Fu masters and TCM practitioners, you will experience these traditional healing arts in the unique surroundings of Mount Song, home to the sacred Shaolin Temple and centuries of Chinese martial arts and Zen tradition.

A Holistic Approach to Well-Being

The combination of Kung Fu healing arts, TCM, meditation, and traditional Chinese wisdom offers a holistic approach to nurturing both body and mind — creating space for relaxation, self-awareness, vitality, and personal transformation.

These three programs can of course be combined. For example, you can start with our Holistic Healing program to address your health concerns, and then fully immerse yourself in the training during the Retreat. Or, after an intensive training phase, you can deepen your newly acquired knowledge on the Cultural Journey and let your time in China come to a relaxing close.

Kung Fu Styles

Kung Fu Zen

The Masters at Kung Fu Zen Healing believe that the ultimate goal of all Kung Fu styles are the same but the path to achieve that goal may differ. Every style has its own methods for each individuals Kung Fu development – there is no superior style only superior practitioners. You must choose the path that suits you best and train until you get an in-depth understanding to reach your spiritual awakening.

Modern understanding has categorized Kung Fu separately into Internal and External styles which goes against the traditional knowledge of Kung Fu. In fact successful Martial Artists have to have both Internal and External training well developed and fused together.

Kung Fu Zen Healing Retreat unite the best masters from each of their traditional lineage to work closely together to bring you the authentic experience of traditional Chinese Kung Fu.
